Exhibition 2017 - TERMS & CONDITIONS

The Annual Print Exhibition of the Windsor Photographic Society will be held in the Firestation Arts Centre foyer and bar area during September.

Entry Conditions.

The purpose of this exhibition is to display work which is representative of our members; it is not a competition and will not be judged.  All members who submit can expect at least one print to be exhibited as long as all submission criteria and standards are met: 

  • Only prints from fully paid-up members will be accepted.
  • All entries must be submitted by Monday 19 June both digitally via this website and in print form to an exhibition team member (see below). No late entries will be accepted.
  • Each entrant may submit up to two prints.  
  • Each print must be titled, and should be accompanied by descriptive text which should give the viewer an insight into the nature of the print, any artistic influences, the location if significant, and any other details (even about yourself) which would add interest. The camera/lens and exposure details can also be included. 
  • All prints will be inserted into a club frame. Prints may be any size and must be mounted – the mount size must be 40cm x 50cm precisely. 
  • Please supply prints in a white mount for uniformity of display. 
  • There should not be any text added to the printed image, and no commercial advertising visible. It is acceptable to place signature or initials in the bottom right corner of the image.
  • Please ensure you supply standard thickness mounts, otherwise they may not fit the frames. Please view our tutorial on mounting a print for general guidance by clicking here.
  • Please print your name, membership number, email address and print title on the reverse of the mounted print so that we can return these at the end of this competition. These details should match the details on the online submission form.
  • Members should indicate their preferred print. The selection of additional prints from any one member will be at the discretion of the exhibition team who will make the selection 
  • If you wish your print to be available for sale please select yes when you upload your image(s) and add your email address in the relevant field.
  • By entering pictures for this exhibition, the entrant accepts that low resolution images of the pictures displayed may be placed on the WPS web site and may be used for other publicity purposes.
  • The exhibition committee reserves the right to not use any images considered unsuitable for public display.
